What was omitted from the document was that these CCTV cameras are connected to the Facial Recognition Software of the NSA, CIA, and FBI and can relay real time information. Once naay match sa FRS automatic dayon mag airdrop ug Navy SEAL Team 6 para mo dakop.
So, worth jud sa price ang CCTV nga half million.
hasula ani oi..naabot nman ug navy seal...unsa ni salida??
I don't know if its the same camera, pero they demoed a camera nga mga 300-400Meters, pwede pa maka-zoom while maintaining good image quality. They demoed it to us including their wide array of IP Cameras, and even became our deciding factor when they bagged the cebu city contract. I could get cameras that are within that 10-15K range, pero lisod isalig... We have outdoor cameras too, but lesser specs than that of cebu city. By the way, manufacturing plants among gipang-installan (Visayas Plants, Mindanao Plant and Distribution Centers, and Luzon Offices namo)...
Actually ang kanang CCTV sa Cebu City, is the same brand as what the Ayala Malls are installing now... If you happen to be in basement 2 of the Ayala Mall, hangad, ug tan-awa ang brand.. Hehehehe, mao na cya..
As for 15M, I am skeptical about it, since the data infra is not that well planned, and data transmission is cheaper than that of the ASEAN Summit. Correct me if I am wrong, pero most cameras atong ASEAN Summit (AIRPORT-MANDAUE-MABOLO STRETCH) are using Motorola Canopies for IP Connectivity. Kaning sa Cebu City, is merely DSL connection lang. If tanawon nimo na nga mga cameras, naa nay box beneath. That is where PLDT's modem router is located, power source for the POE Switch. Directly connected to the Internet ang cameras, then Cebu's data centers would be accessing it through the Camera Vendor's public servers. I am not comofortable with their setup as their are a lot of compromises in terms of security. On my installation, i have my Fortigate appliance for each site for IP-SEC VPN. Mas maayo ng siguro ta... Hehehehehehehe
15M is the entire project cost (Data Center, Network Infra, Cameras, Cost of Installation, etc.), not the cost of 30 Cameras. And also, these are not CDR-King cameras and the likes, nga ingon ana ra ka barato. I am not defending Cebu City kay obviously mahal ra ang 15M for a network of 30 IP cams.. Pero like I said, di pud ingon ana kabarato sama sa gihuna-huna sa uban...grabeha pud anang presyoha oi! murag wla pako ka dungog anang CCTV tag 500t each, subra ra sad kaayo na oi! unsa mana mulapos sa mga balay aron makita unsay nahitabo? grabeha pud kamahala oi.

hayzzzz pila napod kaha ang tinood na presyo ana. ngano dili man nila e-hatag ang model sa cameras? hadlok sila ma search sa internet then ma hibal-an og tag pila jud ang klaro na presyo?
Ang pag maintain ra jud ani nila... For the price worth it man.. Compare it with a dslr or high end na video cameras na mo run 24/7 with internet connectivity plus data recording... Mahal man gani nang mga zoom lens... Nga lens rana... Kani pakaha...
Ang ako lang ani ug maskin ingon ani ka sophisticated pero kalo ra ang kontra.. Or mo.upgrade sad ang kawatan bah..
But overall nice unta ma Tino.od... Just like traffic lights sa mandaue nga dako jud ang matabang especially sa mga drivers na Dili mag tagna.tagna... Ug beating the red light...
Worth it man mogasto ang Cebu City para sa CCTVs as long as beneficial sya. Ang akoa lang asa man ang data center ani. Wala man gyud gipakita di pareha sa Mandaue.
