No, it's CONSISTENT with my post. Population growth is important to economic growth. What is NOT needed is lower population growth. Review the other posts please.

THE CEBU City government is stepping up efforts to regain its lofty position in the Top 10 Most Livable Cities in Asia.

In 1996, an Asiaweek Magazine survey named Cebu City as the eighth most livable city in Asia. Four years later, however, its ranking slid to 22.

Population density is not a factor if the proper authorities cannot handle the volume of migrants to Cebu in the proper manner. People from different islands of the Visayas and Mindanao come over for a better life and they find none.

Blame it on the national government, but blame it on the local government too. Even our arrogant and sadistic mayor and the trapo congressman from neighboring Talisay cannot agree for themselves.

And by the way, I just passed by the Naga-Toledo road today. It raised my eyebrow to hell to see streamers bearing the message "A Gift to the people by Congressman *****". They want us to feel indebted to them when it's an obligation on their part.

No wonder we've been overtaken by Hanoi.
