nope bro... "Boost" is another variant... GTX 650 Ti SC (Super Clocked)... is just a factory OC variant... ang kanang GTX 650 Ti Boost, its another variant of the GTX 650 Ti family... ang performance anang "Boost" variant kay similar sa GTX 660...

double check lang gyud ug klaro unsa nang gibaligya nila... mura'g naa sa 7.5K php ang price anang GTX 650 Ti Boost (from other brands)... pero, if EVGA & Asus, basin mahal gamay sa anang 7.5K na price point...

for the price of intel's i5 you get amd's octa.

diri, mas barato pa ang FX-8350 compared sa i5-3570K but kun ako ang pa pili-on, for my gaming rig, i'll still chose the i5-3570K... its much faster man gyud in actual performance on most of the apps that i use compared to the FX-8350... but in OC GHz numbers, AMD is "King!"... sorry Intel... hehehe...

but again, the numbers will only be shown on the "benchmark"... in real gaming, dili ta maka bantay aning performance sa duha even on the IB, Haswell, SB-E and IB-E... i7 CPUs... granting the same mem modules and GPU(s) ang gamiton...

my personal bang for the money is still the FX-8350 for now... but, i'm still not convinced to jump ship pa... but i'm waiting... hehehe... once himoon ko ni, "i'll be back" to AMD camp gyud after the "Palomino" years (Athlon MP)... hehehe

^ preference ra na bro werty... for discussion's sake... kun unsa'y pili-an... fact man gyud na na naa'y hinay ug pas2x ana nila... pero, as i've said, sa benchmark ra nato na makit-an ang difference in numbers. in real world apps, wla ra gyud... as humans, dili ta sensitive ug millisecond processing difference... so, paliton nato ang swak sa atoang budget ug intended application...

mag sakit ra gyud atoang heart kun after the purchase, mag sige ta'g basa sa mga review sites para comparison... tuwingwingwing...

your son will most likely notice the "ssd feel" than the difference between an i3 and i5 . And go for the GTX 650 Ti Boost Ed. Gamay ra ang difference over the non-boost in price but performance is near GTX 660.

personally, wla pa pud ko mo jump into the SSD band wagon pero, naka gamit ko ug rig na naka SSD...

now a days children are into computers naman sad, so no worries dpende mana sa imong pag disiplina sa imong anak, but thats another thing nasad to discuss (sauna gani wala pa mauso ang mga net cafe ug gamay ra ang naay computers, skip raman ghapon, tan-aw sine, hubog2x, adik2x, ug uban pa, kana pa nga makita ra nimo ang imong anak naa sa room adik sa computer hahahahaha)
