What are your beliefs in regards to eating pork?

I believe that:
People who want to eat pork should be allowed to do so.
People who hold different beliefs should be allowed to do so.
Ironically, in countries where Sharia is the law these are being violated


Sharia does not force you to adopt the Muslim way. --> pure BS, of course.

People who have been to countries where Sharia is the law,
knows that they will not be allowed to practice their way of life
but will be forced to conform to the ways of the Muslim majority.

I am a Roman Catholic, but I really admire the Islam religion. Especially on how their faith is put into action.

I know Sharia Law is a good law just like any other good religious laws.

And just like the laws of men, its effectiveness is always based on how the leader of the Nation or Kingdom is using it - either for the greater good or for his own interest.

Be careful what you wish for.

Saudi Arabia = Sharia is the supreme law.

I hope your not planning to convert Belgium into another Saudi Arabia.
(Muslim majority) Egyptians even rebelled against the imposition
of Muslim Brotherhood-backed Sharia law in their country.

let's just pray that the leader would use it (Sharia) for the greater good.

The "Christians" and the "Jews" mentioned in 5:51 doesn't mean Christians and Jews in general. One must read the entire chapter (or verses before and after at least) instead of cherry-picking like a lot of people like to do.

Christians were gifted with bombs, bullets and 40 dead bodies by Islamists in Nigeria on Christmas Day, 2011.
And their good, friendly, faithful Muslim neighbors were eerily silent about it.
Oh yes, they are only faithful to Muhammad -- when he said
Christians and Jews are not their allies / friends,,, (Quran 5:51)

It's not extremism that we should be afraid of. It's ignorance.

To all who didn't know, Qur'an is the only holy book that is not a collection of several books. Qur'an is written by Muhammad who is also the founder of Islam. If you read the whole of Qur'an you will find out several hundreds or even thousands of contradictions. That's where they get the justifications for all their inhuman deeds like suicide bombing and terroristic activities.
Islam is the youngest of major religions founded at around 700 AD and when you look at history since the birth of Islam is also the birth of Islamic wars, never had it ended until now in middle east. In the past 3 years I'm in a protestant Christian church where Grace is emphasized and practiced. I feel free, and the feeling of someone like an Angry God or judgemental believers watching over me is minimal.

It's something is of the opposite with Sharia. In a Sharia country like Pakistan and Saudi, there are religious police watching a person's every move. No hijab?! Arrest her! When there are religious police, it creates a feeling that God is angry and judgemental.


When Jesus came he summarized the 10 commandments, he said "Love God, and love others as you love yourself". Jesus wants us to focus more on the positive, the grace, instead of the negative.

Because in the 10 commandments, there are many don'ts. For example, "Thou shall not steal", there's still the negative word "steal". The word would still somehow record in your mind. So basically, what someone thinks, so is he.
