I'm just saying that Church leaders trying to protect their fellow molesters (wrong syntax? yes.. and probably no. who knows?) isn't something new.

Didn't we have a Bishop from Butuan who protected a member of the clergy who ALLEGEDLY molested a 17-year old?
(In all fairness, Oscar Cruz criticized the bishop. So, yey for you!)

And hey, Joseph. Weren't you accused of Conspiracy to cover up a molestation yourself?? Lucky you, George Bush bailed you out.

Bitaw guys, Springy, Joseph, Noy and Others.. We've all been in this argument before from other threads. Same old. Same old.
Let's face it, no one is backing up. Your opinion (or lack thereof) stands. My opinion stands. You might be wrong. I might be wrong. Who knows. So I'm gonna give this a rest already..

    @ REDEMPTION ...

If all else fails then so be it but for the record man gud puro ra ALLEGED .

How about the RCC PRIEST na gi himong milking cow sa mga OPORTUNISTA ? Sa mga HAKOG ? With all kinds of ACCUSATIONS . Did you guys even discuss it ? It is not same old same old .... not your typical same shyt different day nor another day in paradise for it is not . But nobody knew about this because people with RESERVATIONS ( not meant for you unless you have it also ) na RCC na gani , murag si kinsang mga pinamay mo criticized but never na appreciate how GOOD things where rolling if not for RCC .

If we also see some church leaders protecting accused subjects , it did not stop nor ni pahunong sa right body and authority to INVESTIGATE . Wala nay kalahian na you are INNOCENT until proven GUILTY . Before mo ma ACCUSED ngano gi duphan sa SIMBAHAN , prove it first na GUILTY ang ACCUSED .

Lastly and by the way , we are here to talk about CARDINAL LUIS TAGLE and not any other bishop , cardinal , top brass RCC etc . That is why I asked you to read the ENTIRE article , not the statements or the thread title posted by the TS na switiks kaayo .

Since the verdict on the case was announced Monday, those sympathetic to the tour guide had been pointing fingers at the Church hierarchy for the outcome of the incident – apparently a misguided take since it is the State, not the Church, who was responsible for the case being pursued.

The Archdiocese of Manila through its Office of Communications released a statement Wednesday clarifying that “the Criminal Case against Mr. Celdran was pursued by the State represented by the Public Prosecutor and a lay private prosecutor. Based on the Decision of the Court the prosecution presented four witnesses, none of whom were from the Archdiocese of Manila.”
Though “deeply disturbed” by the incident which took place in 2010, then Manila Archbishop Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales gave instructions for the Archdiocese to no longer pursue the case, the statement also said.

“How the case on appeal proceeds from hereon is not up to the Archdiocese of Manila or the Church but to the Courts,” it concluded.

You cant blame people with reservations bai .

Mo bilib ra ko ani nila and will retract what I said about ther RESERVATIONS kung makakita ko ni RONZKI and company , sa tanan SUKI sa CBCP , RCC etc mag himo sila ug THREAD about GOOD WORKS na proven and di lang through an " article " then HATERS will discuss it in a manner wher emakita nimo na naka appreciate sila .

Other than that .... diha ra na sila kutob . Storya ug :

    - SIBOT sa SIMBAHAN ( pangolekta kuno unya pangurakot diay )
    - SEPARATION of CHURCH and STATE ( if that is the case kay abused phrase man , then di mo bayad tanan Filipinos na RCC ug buhis )
    - CBCP walay ayo (nagkadaiyang na issues but did not check the other side of the coin )
    - blah blah blah

But in reality , it is just out of IGNORANCE or aron di ma OFFEND ang mga IGNORANTE ... for the LACK of INFORMATION about RCC .

Are the church leaders that POWERFUL ana kaya nila dili IPA PRISO ang pari maski na proven na siya na GUILTY ? Or in our case .... accessory of the FACT ? Lat time I checked , FACT means TRUTH . Kadaghang na priso karon na di guilty hehehehe . And these are REAL FACTS .

If people misread or misunderstand him, then it's his own fault because he wasn't being clear. You can't tell whether he is for or against legal action based on what he said because he left it hanging. I don't know why people are so pissed that people misunderstood him, geez, you guys don't know what he means either because he didn't say anything. Yes, he made a statement that says nothing. Does that make you people feel smart or what?
