Is Amd trying to do the Pentium 4 strategy? that didnt work out too well for Intel.

The "init amg Amd" impression was because of their K6 II processors up until the thunderbirds...
This wasnt the case pag abot sa Athlon 64 but based on their recent processors and brute force approach (boost the Clock speed to compete with intel) , ni balik nasad ilang sakit with high tdp's...
Fyi... AMD fanboy ko... sauna.. owned an AMD K6 up till X2 5000+ black ed... karon nag intel quad na ko and ive not been impressed with AMD's lineup to consider switching back

Good Luck AMD and Fanbois!
maluoy ka sa imong mga FanBois...
we benefit from these two different platforms:

makabarato in the sense nga bung for the buck ang mga low cost AMD proc..
but when it comes to our personal rigs, xempre intel..![]()
The only way Amd is going to impress anyone is if beats intel on performance per clock cycle or adding more capabilities.
Adding more cores or upping the clock speed gives the impression that they are just using brute force from a technological standpoint.
Fusion was their opportunity to grab a big share of the low-midrange with integrated systems but with slowing demand for PCs due to the shift to tablets, they werent able to capitalize on it as much.
