100% agree ko ni sempron guy diri, sobra ra kaayo ka exaggerate ang power consumption part, I'm using both AMD and intel pero ang ako jud main pc is my AMD, personal experience mura same raman sa intel, many people say mas init ang AMD pero personally wala man problema ako PC average time naka on siya is around 20 - 24 hours, come to think of it walay aircon amo house kilid pa jud sa dalan medyo abog, so far for 3 years na ani ako PC wala jud ko problema ang na ilisan ra ani niya was the VC (upgrade purposes).... I dont think sa bill dako jud kaayo ang difference...

Sa katong newbie pako aw sa paminaw lang pero karon numbers and results na akong tanawn... Intel amd mansad ko pero mas best performance ang intel sa cpu karon, i'm not just aiming for better but the best...

Bottomline is, sa video card ghapon na magdaug when it comes to measuring the performance of a gaming rig . Whichever fits both budget and preference as per needs then go for it.

intel is mhal gyd. pang-gaming pc, i advise to have amd. anha mn pd mag-daog sa video card and ram kung gaming lang.

sakto imung decision TS. bawia sa video card ang ram imung na-save for processor.

Example naay Box with intel and a boxwith AMD but both have same PowerSupply running a 500W. Then Power consumption is same.

AMD A10-5800K is probably a best choice here Price is just 30% of a price of Intel Core™ i7-3770
Power consumption AMD A10-5800K = 100W
While Intel® Core™ i7-3770 77 W
That a 28W difference from both processor and its negligible when both computer box is using Power Supply of 500W.

Try using clamp meter to prove ang get the amprege then multiple to 220V. you will get an equal rate to your power supply.
If it goes higher than its probably out of quality control that was ship direct from China.
If it goes lesser then your power supply needs repair. This is due to capacitors leakage current is beyond its limit.
