As a fan of the graphic novel, director Zack Snyder managed to successfully incorparate, say, a third, at least. I agree that the cast, though relatively unknown, did really well, except for Malin Akerman who played Silk Specter II. Jackie Earle Haley as Walter Kovacz was arguably perfect, though (guy had me wondering if he could do a better job as Wolverine than Hugh Jackman, even physically).

Some of the differences with the graphic novel were brilliant, while the others were bad. You all should read the graphic novel to be able to tell for yourself.

In my opinion, you have to read the graphic novel to be able to judge the acting properly. I guess you also have to have an appreciation for what happened in history in the 70s and 80s too, sorry.
