About taxing the donations... i don't think it's right. Ma minus man gani ang tax sa usa ka corporation kong mo donate sila... onya ang gi-donate taxan na hinoon?

Filipinos Decaying Morally

Not only they are not giving they now want the church to be taxed. Churches gives hopes to the oppressed, victims of tyranny, oppression, dominance, cruelty evil elite society.

Are you paying taxes? Does your tax money working for you? Are you better off today than yesterday? Did your debt decline? Is your government saving your tax money or are they making more and more loans for ghost projects?

How about having government officials get paid on donation. You donate money if the politician/government is working for the people. Why give donation to a politician/government who pockets money for their own use while making your life misserable? E-VAT does not improved everyone's life. It improves government salaries and bonuses. Haven't heard E-VAT+ ( Plus)? Government should improve the life of every citizen and not make their life more misserable than it is. I can see only the lives of Government officials are improving. Not you or me.

Church has no income. They survive through donation and gives charity to anyone in need.

E-VAT will not improve Philippine economic situation. What it does is rob every Filipino of their right to improve financially.

Taxing the Church will allow the government to control religion and eventually oppress it. That is why there are consititutional guarantees against taxing religious activity.

Besides, why shoul;d we take funds from an organization that knows far better how to spend it on the poor, and give it to the government just so it can be stolen by the politicians? True, some Church people don't know how to spend funds, but the Church's record in using funds to help the poor is far better than the govenrment's record! And also far better than many other businesses.
