With what you have I would say SSD unless nag apas jud kas highest possible framerate sa imong PC. The last upgrade I made is an SSD and I should have done it sooner.

I dont know why ang mga tao e promote sa SSD ang boot up times jud, I mean its fast.. 8seconds compared to 1min on some systems but the biggest benefit SSD gives is AFTER booting, your system is over all more responsive.

though I understand people who are not convinced by SSD will say so other wise, ana pud ko sauna.. boot up speed raman.. I dont even reboot my PC for weeks but pag SSD nako naka igon ko the boot time is the very lease of its benefits.

    TRUE! but is it necessary?

  3. #43
SSD is necessary if we want to bring new life to our rig so as to squeeze in more juice... responsive man kaayo sya. but for an average juan, the price of SSD is too much as of the moment... i myself is included on this pack... i haven't jumped into the SSD bandwagon yet... tempting gyud kaayo to buy one pero, hold on lang sa ko... sa akoang use, dili ma justify ang cost to my need pa man... i still can wait pa... on those performance delta in seconds during processing...

I myself is in this moment where ganahan na gyud mo try ug SSD, for my work/profession wise preferences i think na need gyud (CAD, 3D Modeling, Rendering, PS + Slight gaming). Pero hesitant ko coz of the price ranges per capacity of the SSD, lisod pa gyud hence mas kinahanglan nako ang more storage. yeah, mas nice gyud if fast responses on boot up time and opening apps and games. in due time ill have myself owning one..hehhe. so same ra to bos lloyd, pugong lang sa and the right abundance will come for us to try and taste this mananap. hihihi

  8. #48
hehhe kana 10k rpm ang hybrid hdd/ssd na sa?...

  9. #49
ang advantage ra sa 10k rpm hdd kay read ug write speeds, overall same ra ghapon imo ma experience kumpara sa hdd jud. 0ms access time is what separetes ssds from mechanical drives

WD velociraptor ni sya bro... mahal2x pa lang price ani nya ron... this will be the standard rpm na unya sa desktop HDD to battle the SSDs... karon, kay gamit pa ni sya sa servers ug workstations pa (enterprise market segment) ... mahal pa man lagi...
