nindot ni nga topic da! I have a friend na nurse then puno tanan niya credit card hangtud wala na gyud kabayad. Cge nalang gud tawag niya ang taga banko but to no avail kay pila ra man intawn sweldo dire sa pinas especially married ka w/kids pa gyud. Mi-apply cya ug USA kay nurse man then nakalarga ghapon cya bisan walay bayad2x iya cards. I think wala pa ang mga laws nga mo protect sa mga banks in cases of dili ka makabayad. Problem lang if gusto ka mo loan sa uban banks mo credit check sila nimo kay centralized man ilang checking sa uban banks then ila ka iturn down coz you have bad credit line man sa uban banks.

Check the documents you signed when applying for a credit card. Everything you need to know should be there. As a general rule, people who do not pay their bills for a long time can be prosecuted by the bank. Let us remember one thing though: the focus of banks is to make money. Kung gamay ra jud ang imong utang, they will threaten, call, mail and do almost everything EXCEPT sue. Mahal ra ba ang legal fees involved ana. The worst that could happen is that you get blacklisted from the bank and your chances of getting a loan approved through them or through their affiliate banks are about as slim as the chances of a paper dog chasing an asbestos cat through hell. On the other hand, if your payable is huge enough that spending on legal services to prosecute you is financially feasible, make no mistake, THEY WILL SUE.

My unsolicited advice: Unless you are responsible enough to only use it during emergencies, do not get credit cards. Oo nga pala, buying a new pair of shoes to match the color of your new handbag is not an emergency.

Kung diri sa Pinas dili ka ma preso ug dali dali kung dili ka makabayad sa credit card mas ma preso ka pa kung cheke ang imo giisyu unya walay sulod. The worst that you will get if you wont pay is that the creditor will sue you for a civil case. This will take around 10 years of litigation para mahuman ang kaso. If you lose, any property that you have will be taken by the creditor. The catch here is that posible nga pasagdahan na lang ka sa creditor sa imo utang kay mas hassle na para nila or if the creditor is really bent on getting even with you then mag abot mo sa civil case sa korte. Both of you ikaw ug ang creditor magastohan sa abogado unya mas dako pa unya hinuon inyo gasto kaysa imo utang. Kung pasagdahan na lang sa creditor swerte ka pero dili ka na kapangutang sa sunod kay ang mga credit card companies mag share nag sila ug info specially sa mga bad creditors.

So ngano mangita man jud ta ug labad sa ulo. Kung di ka kabayad ayaw na lang pangutang simple ra jud kaayo na nga rule.
