While I agree that a liquid is slightly compressible, let's not forget nga ang pangutana ni butitor nag kalabutan sa tubig-dagat. Ang tubig sa dagat dili gyud pure liquid. I am fully aware of the link that you provided and actually it says that the water is compressible though not in a greater extent. And it is more compressible when we take into account that the water we are putting into the jar are seawater. Seawater are composed not only of water but other impurities as well, like dissolved gases, adding to the possibilities that your container would break when brought to the surface, though not explosively.
I think you should read well the question and take your lesson on seawater composition as well.
