No, it will not break. There will be compression of the water inside the jar upon moment of opening, but it will be negligible. And yes, water is compressible but the amount of compression is negligible.

mag depende sad na sa imong jar nga sudlan ts.

While I agree that a liquid is slightly compressible, let's not forget nga ang pangutana ni butitor nag kalabutan sa tubig-dagat.

hmmmm that's because you are taking water molecules the same as the molecules of gas but they are not..

pressure is acted by the ratio of force to the area.. gravity is sure one of the factor to produce pressure, others are density, weight, etc..

meaning?.. if imo ineglect ang compression sa molecules then samot deli mabuak ang iya container..

I am fully aware of the link that you provided and actually it says that the water is compressible though not in a greater extent. And it is more compressible when we take into account that the water we are putting into the jar are seawater. Seawater are composed not only of water but other impurities as well, like dissolved gases, adding to the possibilities that your container would break when brought to the surface, though not explosively.

I think you should read well the question and take your lesson on seawater composition as well.
