agree ko sa post sa uban diri,,, bigfoot nalang ka,,, i'm a graduate from USC,, gusto unta ko motake sa BFA Cinema but grabee kadaghan sa minors as usual sa uban BFA courses,,, dili kaayo boto with this kind of approach when it comes to Art Courses, it should be something practical and hands on... pero if nagconsider jud ka naay University Degree,, ang marecommend nko diri sa Phil kay De La Salle - College of St. Benilde, mas better ila film curriculum didto... and mas better imo exposure sa Manila.

pero nobody has answered the question: pila man gyud diay ang tuition for USC film studies? and naa pa ba tong certificate for screenwriting program?

  9. #49
The Cinema Studies program is roughly about 5,000 pesos to 9,000 pesos per subject (depending kasi on the subject, as some subjects haves 2~3 contact hours while others have 5 contact hours).

In the graduate Masters of Arts in Cinema Studies, students delve deeper into Film Theory, Film History, Film Ethics and Film Criticism. The objective of the program is to produce scholars, archivists, critics who can evaluate and elevate works of cinema as important cultural products.

There is also a current project, which all Master's students are involved, to recover information about Cebu’s lost cinema, news and details about Cebu’s movie industry from the 1970′s and before.

The Certificate course in Screenwriting is still available. I believe that the tuition is 5,000 per subject. There are 3 subjects for the course.

To confirm or request further information, best direct questions to the

    Department of Fine Arts
College of Architecture and Fine Arts
    USC Talamban Campus, Nasipit Talamban,
    Cebu City
    Telephone # (+63 32) 230-0100 local 802

Summer enrollment is from April 3 to April 11. First semester enrollment is from April 22 to June 8, Graduate Studies enrollment is whole month of June.

Kalami. Gusto tah ko skul ana pod. Pero if say, school ka IAFTI nga film, di ba mga 10 months lang na to sila? Pwede kha na i-dungan na sya ug laing art-related nga course? Say Magfine arts ko sa USC at the same time ga-film sa IAFT. Second courser na buh. Ga-Psych man gud ko imbis nga magkuha related sa arts. Anyway dugay na ko graduate, ug murag wa man jud nahimutang ako kalag. Someone said sa College ko dapat related film or art ako gikuha pero wa mn sad gud ko kabalo aha, unsa, o tnang kinahanglan info about unsai naa ug gi-offer sa industry. So, dugay na ko gaplan magfine arts ug magfilm. Since grad na ko, second courser nalang, makuha kaha ang fine arts ug 2 years lang at the same time stud pod ko film sa IAFT? Basin lang naa mo idea bahin ani. Wa ko kabalo aha ko mangutana.
