yep musicians they are and you're correct they have reasons of playing other genres because of the trends that comes and go.. that is why there are many types of musicians depends on it's genre. for me, if you really love true metal music shifting other genres because of the current trends is not my option.

well that is you.. but for them, they're different. even if they play other genres, still they remain as metal as ever. at the end of the day, metal is their top priority. i used to play with their band, i grew up with them, i grew up with metal music and i know what true metal musicians are.

you stated earlier in your posts - "we're a community and it's our way of life". how metal are you by the way? just asking..

death and metal scene/community in general here in Cebu are very much active. mainstream people don't really know much about it maybe because it's an underground thing. kana kun naa pay underground. kron panahona everything is in the net. swerte ang mga bag-ong tubo ron... as for the goth if you're referring to goth metal like type o,moonspell,Theatre Of Tragedy etc. etc. those who was hook-up with that kind of stuff i dunno if there's a scene exclusively for that here in our shore. lastly, the original goth or goth/wave for that matter already exist long before Lacuna and their contemporaries was conceived stuffs like the early the cure, early depeche mode, bauhaus, dead can, sisters of mercy, siouxsie, xmal, xymox, joy division (my fave) etc. etc. etc. on which i know a number of friends who are still into it up to now since the 80s.
