i also have a contact selling these cameras for a relatively cheap price and the manuals are in japanese. he said that he bought it in bulk in japan coz there was some sort of a exhibit there and pentax had a sale. only to learn from the papers that these were fenced goods. he was selling them almost 2 years from now. i don't think he still sells them though. it was just more of a 1 time thing.

thats where you are wrong, if you followed all the threads from early this year, i have been saying good things bout the pentax optio even though i did not sell them...(sila cebutech and others here have been asking me bout stocks and availability iv always said wala ko) even though i was selling exilim and canon(im an authorized dealer) at those times, when asked which i think is better i always have said my honest opinion...

even now that this case in on going, never did i retract my comments on thier optio line did i?

even finding 'enemies' in other threads when i express my personal honest opinon that when it comes to dslr i think canon with its CMOS sensors are better than any other out there...nikonian have reacted strongly to my posts but that never stoped me from giving my honest opinion. (not to mention my take on L lenses built and feel)

@wikitoy: tsk tsk tsk.... bad bad bad. don't say that unless you've tried and compared the cameras markyap is using. i've tried casio and pentax cameras and i can also say that for those mini compact cameras, i will have to agree with mark.

@LytSlpr: if the manuals are in japanese, then those cameras really came from Japan. when you say by bulk.. how many are we talking about here? if it's more than 4 or 5, then that person will have a problem with the customs.. unless.... you know.
