unsa man na nga school?
unsa man na nga school?
USC ni siya . . . Sakto jud ka TS . . .kinda discriminating jud ni siya nga rule . . . But dapat mosabot sad ta nga usc is an institution, and each institution has its own rules and regulation. And as someone wanting to be part of that institution(wa man namugos ang usc nga adto mo mo enrol) dapat mo embrace ta sa iyang rules and regulation.
Yes sakto nga giingon sa balaod nga we should have access to quality education. Pero dili nato kalimtan nga part of the teaching or education process sa usc ang MORALITY kai mga pari baya ang nag pa run ani. . .therefore if we believe that usc can give us the quality education that we are looking for then we must obey its rules and teaching.
Di ko abogado sa usc hap. Graduate sad ko ana nga school and i find it discriminating jud. But wala tay mabuhat. Usc has its rules nga dapat nato sundon once mo enroll ta.
Ah, mah Alma Mater... never forgot the USC hymn even in my Childhood days....
"To USC we sing
Our song shall always ring
You, who set the mind astir
Of our learning be harbinger.
Our Alma Mater dear
We pledge our love sincere
Firm do we stand and true
Glory to God, to man and you.
We promise faith and love
And laud the Lord above
To God we shout our song of praise
To Him our voice we raise.
Your aim’s to lead us to the Lord
Be now forever blessed!"
Taga TC ko. Are there really students with tattoos walking around the campus?
Ako lang ni ha, it's gotten strict during my time there kato first course pa nako. In my batch, they implemented the male uniform policy. They tightened the rules even further by implementing a "prescribed" haircut for the guys. So nawala na to mga long hair and to this day it's still enforced and naa pa to na di pagyud pde facial hair sa laki. They've gotten stricter over the years and pretty much na usab gyud ang look sa taga TC when I came back for my second course.
That Chairman's "ex-convict" comment is uncalled for and just downright stupid. Abi criminal kay naa tattoo? Please.
What happened isn't fair, pero this school like any other is just looking out for its own interests...and there's really nothing wrong with that. General perception of tattoos is just negative and the school plays by society's norms to maintain its reputation and standing. Like I said in the previous post, they really changed the students' profile. I don't see anyone in TC walking around with long hair and facial hair anymore. Is it really that bad that they want to define their students' profile? Society has norms dictating what it deems "presentable" and the school simply wants their students to be that way because they are aware of society's perceptions and don't want their students to be labeled negatively.
The perception of the tattoos is really more of a social issue than it has anything to do with the school, otherwise if society deems tattoos "acceptable" then no institutions would implement policies against it. This sort of discrimination is bigger than the school itself or its values.
Here's a wild idea: how much does getting an education from this institution mean to you? Are you willing to make sacrifices? Are you willing to get rid of the tattoos (the really visible ones anyway) to get the degree you're after? Reality forces us to make priorities. What will you give up to get what you want?

Every People deserves an education ... whether you're black, white or disable person...
It does not matter if that person has a tattoo on his/her body.
Besides the school are not hiring employee.
Students are there to learn and not to work for the school.
For as long as the student has a good moral conduct
rules are rules.. kami to ang last batch ni gradwar sa tc na pwede pa mag long hair and banggas.. \m/
