toon: i know the first series frogskin was a "rayban wayfarer" look. i owned a rootbeer frame and brown lens. i sold it to buy the frogskins fives. so the one you have is also black (though so). i already have na. i was looking for the rootbeer/brown frame.

Lyt: bittle? no, i dont think so. thats why its called stress resistant. i think the "wayfarer" design was the one thats brittle.

Presently, I'm wearing Oakley "Straight Jacket" Electric Blue Frame & Fire lens (for casual) M-Frame Black Iridium (when jogging) Rudy Project Skeey Laser Blue Lens and Ray-Ban teardrop classic metal (occasionally lang kay ma-mistaken identity unya ta ni General Douglas MacArthur )... I used to collect Oakleys before, when i was still single (aw... single pa man diay gihapon ko karon... ) I used to have Oakleys blade, frogskin & zero (you were right guys for those who said that these were brittle on the hinge/arm part) My favorite was my Ray Ban Way Farer-2 Jet Black (up to now i'm still wondering where i lost it... ) Right now wala na ko mag-collect (some were given from my dad) kay wala na ko'y budget para ana... (i'd rather spend my earnings on the basic needs for my 2 kids. )
Our eyes are susceptible to sun damage, just like your skin. Sunglasses are the best way to protect against this damage.
Sunglasses are important. They provide protection from ultraviolet radiation, which can be harmful to one's eyes. UV radiation contributes to disorders such as cataracts, macular degeneration, photokeratitis, pterygium and skin cancer around the eye.
This Oakley Plate Platinum Frame & 24K Gold Iridium Lens looks Hot!

before plate was released, oakley send me emails regarding that model (i subscribe the newsletter of oakley man gud) i was so eager to buy that na gud dayon because of the looks and design. but when it was released first in a certain optical shop in alabang, i was so disappointed. i really thought that it was in the xmetal family. plastic man diay! Same goes with the splice and scar.

frankly speaking, di na man gud ko ganahan mupalit ug plastics nowadays. especially dali ra e imitate. Look at the scar, the fives, tens, twentys and other plastic models, pwerteng daghana kaayong imitation. Pero i dont discourage person who digs authentic plastic oakleys! i even have myself some plastics. remember guys, we still have the pride of wearing genuine oakleys!

observe the froggies' plastic, it's harder more glass-like. the wayfarers are made of more flexible plastic, though they can also break but not as undurable as the froggies.

yup, it does dude. the interior coating of the lens chips off. maybe toon hasn't experienced this yet coz he has a lot of Oakleys to wear so the chance of deterioration is lesser on his part. but if your just gonna buy a pair or two, you would definitely notice this specially if you wear it everyday.

if you want durability & functionality, go for rudy project. if you go for pure aesthetics & aesthetics only, go for Oakley. IMHO, Oakleys are sensitive eyewear. You always have too look out for it which defeats its functionality.

basta dili lang e head band (which i always saw on people who has oakleys) and you always wipe it with the synthetic pouch, di ra man mu peel off ang lens. ako usa ka e-wire (my first metal), ni peel off kay sige man nako e head band... that's why i have to replaced the lens (which cost me around 3t)
