According to Alexander L. Lacson there are 12 little things every filipino can do to help our country:
1. Follow traffic rules. Follow the law
2. Whenever you buy or pay for anything, always ask for an official receipt.
3. Don't buy smuggled goods. Buy local. Buy Filipino
4. When you talk to others, especially foreigners, speak positively about us and our country
5. Respect your traffic officer, policeman and soldier.
6. Do not litter. Dispose your garbage properly. Segregate. Recycle. Conserve
7. Support your church.
8. During elections, do your solemn duty.
9. Pay your employees well.
10. Pay your taxes.
11. Adopt a scholar or a poor child.
12. Be a good parent. Teach your kids to follow the law and love your country

we should not just entrust everything to the people in the government...we should learn to work for our success...coz great success starts from little things...
we should not be complaining and doing nothing...
we should stand on our feet and do our part as a citizen of this country instead of conducting rallies and making small issues bigger...

Ang problema kay tongod sa Manila. Dili man ni Republic of the Philippines kong dili Republic of Manila. Walay laing solosyon kon dili mo-separate sa Manila kay mao ra gyod na nakalawgaw aning nasura nga gitawag sa mga katsila og Pilipinas.

the problem with the philippines are the filipinos. too much complacency. too many complainers, not enough doers. we need to become doers and generate change in our own ways, in our own little lives. stop complaining and do something. stop depending on the government, lower your expectations, and if they do something good, appreciate and support it. if we keep sitting back, acting like victims, and think that we can't do anything, then of course nothing will happen.
