I admire you for being one of those who still think highly of our policemen. But I beg to differ. There are lots of civilians out there who have proper documentations on their firearms. The time of thinking that policemen are morally and intellectually superior to own firearms than civilians is over. Panahon ra to sa Martial Law. In fact most civilians have better mindset, psychological make up and firearms proficiency than some of our policemen out there. That being said, being a policeman does not entitle you to a PTC automatically. Policemen still has to undergo the necessary procedures to get a PTC. In fact, lots of low ranking, wala ma butang sa sakto na post na pulis, could not even afford PTCs even with the HUGE DISCOUNTS afforded to them. They could not even afford a legit gun if they are not issued one. How many times have we heard of policemen being caught sniffing shabu or other stuff and get themselves into more trouble because they do not have proper documentation on their firearms?Originally Posted by baboy
Panahon pa ni ni Rizal ug Bonifacio na law. This is what I was referring to as a Draconian, Martial Law Era type of law and fortunately for civilians, this law has been repealed. As what I stated on my post above, during Gum Amnesty, you can virtually have any type of firearm licensed provided it is not a BAZOOKA Bubble Gum, LIGHT ANTI-TANK, MACHINE GUNS - CREW SERVED WEAPONS, MORTAR, HOWITZER, TANK, BATTLESHIPS... Hehehehe You can virtually have your own armory in the comfort of your homes. You can legally own M-16s and its derivatives, so goes with the AK, MP5, etc.Originally Posted by baboy
