I've only seen the new series too and I've been enjoying it immensely. I can now honestly say that "Doctor Who" is now my favorite TV show of all time, dethroning "Battlestar Galactica" on my list hehe. I really loved how David Tennant played the role but I gotta admit that Matt Smith is doing an excellent job as the 11th Doctor. When I find the time, I'll try to watch the old episodes from the 60s.

I believe the Doctor Who short should be out by now; it normally serves as a prequel for the Christmas special.

Neil Gaiman will also write an episode involving the Cybermen.

And I will miss Rory and Amy and her skirt.
