How long did it take for you to upgrade?

first cam dslr nov. 2007 sony alpha a100 for part time and hobby use after 3yrs i decided to quit my animation/visual fx carrer and jump to invest canon 5d mk2 2009 nov. i was amaze by the quality of iso6400 shooting something in the dark that my eyes cant see.

Film SLR Nikon FM10 pag college mga 1996 cguro to then nag DSLR Nikon D80 pag naa nako work mga 2006-2007 cguro. Mas daghan kog na learn sa DSLR ky makita man gud dayon ang results dili pareho sa film nga dugay pakang wait wait hope hope nya inig develop sa photos sayop d i ang exposures...until now D80 lang gihapon, pahimulos ug maayo. Diri ko sa lens nag cge ug palit...hope I can upgrade to a higher-end pud...usahay sayangan ko sa ako tinigum oi labi hobbyist ragud ko...as of now, contento paman ko sa akong D80 even if there are cameras nangguwa nga nay better reviews. I still need to make myself a better photographer first.

First cam sony cybershot (2009) then upgraded to Canon 1000d (2010) and upgraded to Canon 60d after 11 months (2011)

my first cam kay Nikon F60, dili pani cya Digital, after everyone started to go digital I decided to go for an entry level cam, the Nikon D60, next kay advane level napud kay Nikon D5100 hehehe

@tangadsaging: lisod jud ang film para nato nga walay own dark rooms. hehehe... ako tawn usahay kato nag-film pako nga cam (non-slr) nga usahay putol ang agtang sa subject nya usahay kung naa ka suguon pa pic kay matabunan sa finger ang flash mao weird usahay apil jud sa pic ang tudlo sa person nga nag-shoot sa pic.. hahahaha... but is was also fun to look at the blooper shots. hahaha

@master Koto: nice kaayo ang canon 5d! naka try ko atong pag-sunday and it was awesome! jpeg files ra ako gi-shoot nya nindot kaayo ang saturation sa colors SOOC. shot at 1600 iso and wala jud ko nakit-an nga noise! hahahaha... i hope i could afford the nikon equivalent sa 5d in the future sad when my skills do improve a whole lot)

it took me a year and a half para maka upgrade... basin karn christmas maka upgrade na pud...

Started with Nikon D60 pero dli man to akoa, sa akong uyab, then after 4 months nipalit kog D5000 I'm pretty happy with it specially active kaayo ang community diri sa istorya..after 7 months gibaligya nko ug giwithdraw tanan tinigom nako since high school (pampalit unta alienware) ug niupgrade to D7000 not because maayo nko but nka feel lang ko nga there's a need for an upgrade mahal kaayo ang AF-S lenses sa nikon, I need a body with BIM, faster FPS ug decent ISO...was thinking to go for D90 but since na release na ang D7000 gdretso nalang!

Karon wa nkoy makaon! lol

about a couple of months to buy new lens. then a year and a half to upgrade my camera body.
