I agree that both guys now are far from the fighters they were 3 years ago. I don't think any doctor has said Margarito's eye hasn't fully healed, otherwise he won't be licensed. I also agree Margarito might be a little shot compared to Cotto, but I'm still picking him to win this fight. Wolak is definitely fun to watch. Too bad we don't have PPV in the Philippines for this one. Livestream nalang ta ani..

margarito ko pero murag wapa man maayu iya mata, margarito gihapon except soppage sa iya mata, pero kung maka exploit c cotto sa mata plus backpedal he can come out with a decision...

There were actually, it was part of the controversy why the fight was almost scrapped. But because of their bad-blood, it pushed through. Cotto's camp has explicitly said that Margarito's orbital bone will be their target considering that the time since it was repaired wasn't that long ago. I still have this Cotto by UD. Will be watching this tonight.

There were questions about his eye not being fully healed but it was proven wrong and that's why the fight pushed through in New York. Had Margarito been denied his license, they would have brought the fight somewhere else. The fight is too good to be scrapped. Originally Posted by æRLO
