What would you do if your parents forbid you to marry someone who is not rich?

I'll hear them out first.
Coz I know they only mean well and they are not that irresponsible to hand their daughter to someone who would only put me in a compromising situation.

I'll tell my folks to let me be with my guy if he happens not to be financially stable just yet. I'll assure them that I won't let them down by just marrying off with someone whom I am not sure of especially with my future.

If I can see that my guy is responsible and industrious to make a name for himself and capable of providing well for my family then I don't see any reason for my parents to give me any lecture about whom to marry. Besides, my family never goes for someone who's rich as long as he's a respectable man with honor, pride, values and the skills to put food on the table then he's a keeper.

just a thought, there are only rich people by their family name and birthright and there are some who are wealthy not from their reputation but for the sweat and tears they put through to get it...

mura ni sa ako na case. but i choose to marry the guy. and wala gyud ko nagmahay pod. dili sila ganahan sa akong hubby its because his not rich. now my parents ignores me for the past 5 years and still counting pero ok lang, at least i have my hubby who loves me dearly.
