I don't think it's possible to predict the future beyond educated guesses. I do however believe that there may be some truth to past-life experiences which is kind of the opposite thing.

nagpatagna ko sa una.

ingon sya nga mu abroad ka before X year. pagka next month, na promote ko sa ako job, two step promotion. i laughed at the fortune teller. kinsay mu abroad ani nga maayo man ko ug asenso sa ako job.

a few months after, na promote na pud ko.. wala na mi magkita sa fortune teller pero i remember laughing at him despite his absence.

before that year ended, i got a call from a manila agency. i was in a pustahanay with my cousins, nga way silbi ang mag apply thru newspapers ads lang, kinahanglan nga personal gyud ka mu adto sa manila.

i was offered a job.. an amazing offer i cant refuse.. may signing bonus pa while didto pa sa manila.

i left the country before X year ended.

now, i imagine i hear the fortune teller laughing at me..
