Pommie is a term given by Aussies to Brits who are living in Aus. Cguro offensive na but between our circle of friends, we use that a lot and wala raman. Maybe because we know better and maybe bcoz the intention is not to hurt.

yeah i know sis i'm living in oz too but i noticed some english people don't like to be called pommies or poms for some reasons they find it offensive but alot of aussies use that term anyways. . so i was wondering if your husband didn't care if his called a pom?i have some pommie friends and they always ask me to drop calling them pommies.LOLZ.
