ang "lover" man gud naay carnal connotation..i think it pertains more to the person whom you have a more physical relationship while ang friend..u know, friend! ang friend sad mura naman naay fraternal bond so murag weird if ul marry him/her..wala'y in between ana?mix of lover and friend? kana lang ako..

if lover is the one you had a relationship the moment you planned to marry then i would say "lover" but i will make sure also that the one i love is the one that i can also consider as a "friend".
