‎University of San Carlos - CEBU CITY is still the best school for architecture in Cebu, the other 3 universities (CIT, UV & USP) are not producing highly-competitive graduates. Just very upset with the education system we have here. We are producing draftsmen or renderers instead of world-class architects.

If I'm the parent of a child who wants to be an architect, i won't waste my money putiing my kids on these other schools..

They have the opportunities all around them but still they see difficulties.
They see obstacles. They see ifs, buts and all sorts of excuses.
And I would blame it to the schools bro that have the wrong educational system.

Hehehe! nag too jud gani ko sauna nga kung mu graduate nako ako Egnineering, happy ever after na, But it think after our graduation sa school in fact is the start of our life and the moment we stop learning is the moment we stop growing. I realize that ang gamit sa School kay is to let our minds keep on learning even after school. Hehehe! Gamay ra man pud mu go out sa comfort zone and go home 2 am. Hehehe!

Nindot ang experience kung dili lang by the books permi kay mura ra tag gi sulod sa shell og dili ta maka go outside of the box. Hehehe! Sometimes we forget to use common sense kay sa books lang permi nato basehan. Hahaha! Application is different from theories.

If I'll teach Architecture from Day 1, I will be asking my student to submit me their company names that they aim to establish right after graduation. And if they can't establish it, they can't graduate.
What do you think will happen during the 5 yr curriculum?
Everything will turn around. Every little thing that you are doing since the start will have a purpose.
That's what education should have been. It should be a tool for self-empowerment, independence & excellence.

In this case, I don't think you will last long as an architecture professor. Hehehe. I agree somewhat with your opinion, pero I don't think you should impose it on others.
