Dude, the Da Vinci Code does not insinuate that Christ had been devirginized by a prostitute. Instead it insinuates the theory that Christ was just an ordinary man but an extraordinary religious leader who got married and had a child with Mary Magdalene (which the book says, is lambasted as a prostitute by an OLD chauvinist Roman Catholic Church). And the Angels and Demons revolves around another secret society of freethinkers and scholars, again decreed by the OLD Catholic Church as a satanist sect.
Just staying true to the words IN THE BOOKS.
I agree that Dan Brown's works are just mere fiction but fiction based on non-fiction works and actual history which why we enjoy it so much.
