Way back some ten years ago, when selling prices per bottle was somewhere within Php 40 at pick up at store then you are talking of payback period of five months. That said even if RO equipment price was up to the roof and despite people are not keen to the diferrence to tap (puso) water and its purified counterpart. In those times you do not have to worry on where to put up your store as people will seek you out.
Now, competition have shown it ugly head. You see Water Refilling Stations (WRS) selling theirs at Php 10 per bottle - while some go down to Php 8. You also see a lot of alternatives to how water is "processed", hence you see your purified water being drawn into the level of ultrafiltered water - another name for simply filtered water.
To give you a rough idea. You need at least 200 bottles sold per day for a Php 3K gross sales. In my experience, about 80% of that goes to your expenses and taxes. Your expenses would cover for your Electricity (big chunk), salary, fuel (for delivery truck), store maintenance, truck maintenance, rent, filters and RO machine maintenance. Roughly you will only have Php 20K monthly profit.
That is assuming you are able to generate 200 bottles sales at Php 15 bottle average selling price. To generate this walk-in volume you should locate your store in a very crowded neighborhood. An estimated of 700 households within 150 meter diameter from you WRS.
Please let me know if i am of help to you.

This is a very good question, brod. What is the difference between 21 stages, 16 stages and 18 stages other that the very obvious.
Not all raw water sources to be processed or to be purified are the same. Some are by coincidence and by the good grace of God Almighty are very good quality while others wallow is mud, bacteria and chemical contamination. Since you cannot have a "one size" fits all solution to the above concern, you need purification of varying stages.
The final question now is where should we patronize: the 21 Stages or the 16 Stages? My answer is why would you go for the 21 Stages. What that meant is that Water Refilling Station needed 21 stages of filtration to make "clean" water. Hugaw tingali kaau iya raw water.
This is my take. What is yours?...

ok pud kaha if mo franchise nlng?
i dont think franchise is a good idea since you do not need a 'name' in order to get customers in this kind of business. Ang franchiser ra madato ana. IMO![]()

u have a point..i just find it difficult if no one will assist you..but u are ryt, u pay for the name.
