guy needs to go to manila to meet ds really special girl. parents are strict. he's got enuf cash to survive there for 2 days and 2 nyts. what shud his excuse be?

Hmmm... I dont know. Lying for something that big isnt a great idea. In fact, lying to your parents about it, esp. if youre thinking they will give you cash(using THEIR money!) isnt really something one should be proud of. I agree with Junmar, no harm telling the truth or just wait for a better opportunity.
