LED ko just bought Samsung EX2020... nindot ang color mas minus pod power consumption, low heat signature, i think durable pod ni sha kay iyang approx life span kay up to 100,000 hrs life, which is approx 14-15yrs, 18hrs per day of use.. pero on top sa tanan attractive pod kaayo sa mata![]()
basically thesame as an istoryan pointed out...
LED:
Thin form factor
Light (preferable for wall mount set-up)
Slightly better technology
LCD:
Tried and tested technology
Go for major brands (China panels have high failure rates)
Bulky and slightly heavy
I suggest you go for a Brand name LED like samsung...
honestly, the price of an LCD (and assuming LEDs are too) plays a major role in the longetivity of its use. I had 2 22" Viewsonics fail (uneven backlights occur the other dead) and an AOC that had multiple busted Capacitors... mind you, i know how to inspect and replace faulty capacitors but those casualties were hopeless.
if your into gaming. look for a fast response monitor... 5ms is ok but 2ms is preferable...
also, trust your instincts and look up for reviews...
Investing on a monitor goes a long way![]()
+1 para sa LED kay mas nindut ug contrast nya ecofriendly pa jud

Mga istoryans i need the help of anybody who is familiar with a panasonic toughbook cf-w2 kay broken na ang iya lcd then i asked 1 laptop repair shop ingon sila mahal daw kaayo mga 25 k daw i-order pa then not including taxes ug labor. wow! di nako kaya! i was hoping if pwede ba kha if palit na lang ko ug monitor then i-connect sa laptop. how? and what kind of monitor pwede ani? if somebody can advice me on this, i would really be thankful. barato lng unta nga klase nga monitor ako ikabit, how much kaha? tnx daan.
pwede kaayo na... tanawa lang sa imo laptop kung unsa iya mga ports... kung naa siya hdmi port... ngita ka monitor nga naay hdmi port... if vga port lng then monitor with vga port lang.
asay pinaka barato nga computer store diri cebu nag baligya ug LED.....
Hmmmm....
AFAIK there is still no such thing as a REAL LED monitor (except as billboards, example that intersection sa Archbishop Reyes and Escario before you enter Ayala), meaning the LED lights themselves provide the picture. What they call LED now (mostly because of Samsung's misleading advertising, LG and ViewSonic are more honest about LED) are actually LCD monitors with LED backlights instead of fluorescent.
I still choose my monitors based on the following: contrast ratio, refresh rate and response time, and well, general good looks, oh and price. If you're looking for gaming monitors, you should get the new 120hz (and above if there are models higher than that) 2ms (and below) models.
