err.. uhmmm... assembling that rig is impossible for me, even in my dreams... hehehe... atlhough, i was disappointed about the 2*6600GTs... (I dont know, but i believe its really fast, when running in SLI..)

well ivebeen an nvidia fan for forever from my old geforce 2 to my ti-4200 to the 6800 thats on my nforce 2 now but a lot of people are saying good things about the x850. for me tho im very comfortable around the nvidia gpu's which is y i got the 2 6600 althought the x850's are better value for your money right now. oh and i like the way the nvidia handles a dual monitor setup theres one dual feature that ATI cant do i think its spanning (dual view)but someone correct me if im wrong. i saw a writeup on it a few months ago. all i remember for sure is that there are 4 different ways to span and ati can do only 3 of the 4 while i use to use the one they couldnt do The funny thing was i didnt get the SLI to originally run sli i just wanted a vid card per monitor which doesnt work under SLI or the option to run more than 2 monitors. it suposedly works under non sli config with an sli board but ive gotten mixed review on it will let you know as soon as mine is working but for just performance i dont think sli is that great unless your a hardcare gamer which im not the last game i played was generals like 8 months ago hehe
As for processor fx if you can but san diego if you cant you can oc them anyway to perform as good the 4000 are suppose to be awsome check out dfi-street.com this mod angry james is using one and seems to be getting it to 3ghz up so even if you can get it to 2.8 with a 1 mb cache and sse3 that should last you a while and if they dont OC your in the US anyway RMA for a different steping hehehe i envy you if your into the fsb game get the ocz pc 5000 made for dfi they run on tccd wich can go preaty high on the fsb but too loose a timing me personally i prefer tight timings so i got the thier pc4000 which can only go a max of 270 if your lucky but at really tight timings the tightest ive seen on them are 2-2-2-6@270 im happy with 250@2-2-2-6 which 6 is 2 tighter than than its rated 8
