yes it will rot..but our consciousness wont..that is life not the body alone, the question is where do our consciousness go after we separate from our physical body..

consciousness is part of your body... it's inside our head our nerves, its the sensation that we felt around us.
thats why when we faint we lost consciousness...but the brain though still is working then regain it when we awake.
if the brain dies so is our consciousness.
when we die... it's over... done.. finish... kaput.

you are talking about senses and physical feeling..the conscious "I" feeling is different it is a form of energy that generates and controls our body system, the one that controls the brain.when we die of course there is a separation between the two body and spirit. that particular spirit is the I feeling. this I feeling is a some sort of an energy form it is sometimes in a form of mist(ectoplasm).

this topic lies in the same mold with discussions like creation vs. evolution. the problem with evolution is, it remains a theory - that's why it's called the theory of evolution by charles darwin. all major religions believe in life after death and unless you're an atheist, you're still in the process of proving evolution yet.

really depends to what you believe in... some religion when u die u will reincarnate other we move on to the next life....... but how true is this..... faith........ :mrgreen:
