Oh,Abi nako usa cs department man diay.News will be out on the net b4 you guys can even have a copy for "training" so il stick to my news sources sa net for reliable informaiton about it.
anyway the only advantage i see with buying the legit version is the ease of software updates.. other than that i doubt the avg joe will be able to take advantage of the legit only features.

mag cge man jud na ug update kay daghan hardware, software ug mga buang buang sa net Di jud na mahitabo nga way update unless wa na gisupport sa MS ang product like win 98. Naa raba toy namaligya ug useless nga orig dinhi
As of bugs when ma release na, aw naa jud na, pero most likely not as bad as when winXP came out, kay for beta testing, MS included the public already. Wa pa gi release daghan na kaayong bugs nadetect and resolved. Karon gani rare naman ang calls for Vista.

Frankly, the only reason we will need to upgrade to Vista is if we have an application that requires it. Kung wala, don't bother. Settle for Kubuntu or Ubuntu Linux, klaro pa 64 bit, free pa. The only reason I run Windows now is for the games.

... And I think we really need to move to the future fast! hehehe human na ang era sa 8-bit,16-bit OSes para desktop
then ang 32bit OS kay naa na sa iyang prime.. time to move to 64 bit OSs (naa sad WinXP 64 bit) wheter you like it or not mag upgrade jd ka ani in the near future dli lang ka ka bantay. dli man ni pinugsanany na pag gawas sa Vista kelangan mo swithc dayun ka.. hehehe Even Linux is preparing to move to 64 bit (see the linux kernel source). And theres also a big difference between Dx9 and DX10 both for developers and gamers (I think naa nay bagong version ang Shaders) na sooner or later tanang game development/publishing company mo-adopt na jd ani since opengl was frozen or emulated sa Vista( i thin version 1.4 lang). And trust me bai lahi ra jd ang Vista compare sa XP.

coz i have a quad core rig back at home.But if i have enuf resources i wod switch to Vista for sure,but for now XP 64-bit muna tayo.

If you guys really talked with that american ms representative, i think he DID mention that vista runs on a 256MB machine with P3-500 or equivalent and any videocard capable of 800x600x16bit. altho thats under 2d vista mode..

if i have dat kind of rig u mention above. i rather stick to my XP.
