They said they were inspired most in the letter of Ninoy to Noynoy dated August 25, 1975, the night Ninoy decided not to participate in the legal proceedings in his case.
In the closing part of the three-page letter, Ninoy told his only son to "stand by your mother as she's stood beside me through winds of crisis and uncertainties. Firm, resolute and uncowed. I pray to God that you inherit her indomitable spirit and her rare break of silent courage. Therefore, there is no greater nation on earth than our motherland, no greater people than our own, serve those with all your heart, with all your might and all your strength. Son, the ball is now in your hands."
to me, Marcos was the greatest president of the Philippines leading the country to a bright future with the Philippines being the first to send a satellite into space within his regime, maintaining the $1.00 : Php. 2.00 ratio in the Philippines, putting our language on top priority, finding ways for the Phil. to have independent energy resources rather than importing from other countries, and many more. the only one who brought him his downfall was Imelda.
