hehe, bro, dli ako st.bernard ang ako gepainitan, akong sulcata tortoise cause mao jud na amu daily routine, kylangan man nya ug heat sa sun gud para healthy iya growth esp sa iya shell, amu st.bernard is under lng sya sa tambis nga tree nga dako kaau, helps as shade jud sya bro bt lahi lng jud ang init, bisan dili nmu xya literal na makita, ma feel jud nmu ang init, dili lng sa ka hayag sa raise, but all around ang init.... lamat bro.

St.Bernard ug Tortoise? Heavy loss... both sa money ug sa personal pet

mao jud lage bro, after pag ka matay sa ako tortoise, mas nag tyaga gud ko nga ma baligya ako djimbe to buy another sulcata. ayw lng st.ben, kai murag d na kaya sa budget.ehe

That is so sad that your pets died...my heart goes out to you. As to dogs, it is very important you provide a shade for your dog if it is outside in your back yard. Be careful of dogs that are housed in kennels/cages because depending on the roof, it can be hot if it doesn't deflect the heat. I have already heard of several dogs dying in Cebu because of the heat and because they were in kennels (cages). If keeping a dog in a cage/kennel is your only solution, and it doesn't have the heat deflecting roof, a quick and cheap remedy is to get styrofoam, wrap foil on top of it, place it under the metal roof allowing space (approx 1 to 2 inches) between the roof and the foil.

Added things to do to keep you dogs cool: 1. have a pan so that they can soak their paws; the dogs cool through their paws; 2. Always feel their nose and ears; one of my pits got overheated in the States during the summer; I noticed he was weak and when I felt his nose and ears it was very warm. I immediately got a toalita (wash clothe) and soaked it in cold water; I then placed it on his head and the rest of his body; the temperature went down; 3. If your dog likes water, have a big palanggana with cool water outdoors so the dog can soak and cool off; change the water often as bacteria can build up; 4. Change their water bowl often and put ice in their water; you may want to give them ice if they like it; 5. The best is to keep them in the house if you can...i.e. in your lanai, indoor garage if the floor is cool, in the house; have a fan circulating the air as much as possible;

ang init kron kai simple killer lng na sa atong mga alaga, mao extra care lng jud ta kai a minute away ra ta for some accidents....

what we do is amo sila paduwaon sa ice igka udto then put dextrose powder sa ila water it really helps in rehydration

ako tulo ka rotties basta taga udto kay sulod jud sa balay. adto manghigda atubangan electric fan. Bahala na nang kuryente kay mas mahal pa tambal sa pets kaysa sa gasto sa electric fan
