    I wouldnt want to live in a place where their are a few pinoys. mingaw kaayo na.

    maybe the singaporians like austrilia because they are under the british before(check).

    they are use to their accent.

    for me, i still prefer to see a lot of filipinos in my workplace. thats why i like the US.

    One of my proudest moments: when Miss Australia (Jennifer Hawkins) whooped Miss America's butt. I forgot the year. How awesome was Jennifer's gown?!

    @cool

    Hehe .. better start your own US destination thread bro. I guess this thread is for people who'd like to go to AUS and not compare it with other places. I have worked at the US for almost 3 years ... for some it is still a dream for some to be there, to live the american dream. I have been there, so its not part of my dream anymore, next place I'd like to go would be AUS or some mid-eastern Europe (Prague, Check Republic, etc.). Its really just a matter of preferrence and please do not make comparisons.

    If the thread's purpose is to promote tourism to these places, then we should stop comparing US to Australia. The US has its own good tourist spots - go to Yoshimite natl park or take the nature trail in Grand Canyon, go to the smokey mountains near gatlinburg in the fall - there's no other place in the world like it. But then again, that would be a good topic to discuss in another thread, not this one.

    Australia, has the best beaches, good diving spots (great barrier reef) and unique tourist attractions, which you also cannot compare with the US. Its uniqueness, is something that you just cant compare with other countries in the world.

    The same is also true in the Philippines - no matter how much you rant about poor employment opportunities or the number of actors we have, etc. Philippines is still Philippines and I would still love to be home if given the chance.
