They never were the best senators, though!!!
Now, if they were not best senators, can they run this country, the best they can, with all its problems and divisions? Of course, you will say "Yes" .. but personally, I would think twice giving my votes to them. Noynoy was chosen for the "cory magic" and nothing else. If Cory were still alive today, will Noynoy be the choice of LP? I don't think so! Mar will always be sour gripping for giving up the presidency since he run instead as vice president .. we had that before, Doy Laurel. I think Mar was not sacrificing here, he was saving his image, a personal motivation .. a show biz thing. And personal motives are detrimental to this country. We were there already, most of the times!
Well, if they will win, bro, as a good citizen, I will support them. But for now, I have to lay bare my impressions.

I have my own reasons why I will vote for Ninoy and Mar and not because of "Cory Magic" for crissake...

1st: Walay pamilya si Noy noy... Walay mang galgal... I don't think his siblings would meddle... Heck, they are making more money than Noynoy.

2nd: He is protecting his parents' legacy! I don't think he would jeopardize the legacy of Ninoy and Cory...

3rd: He was not intending to run in the first place because he feels he wasn't ready. The man doesn't have Villar's money! Dili cya ambisyoso pareha sa uban nga bisan kahibaw na cla wala clay chance, hala dagan gihapon... He was urged to run by many because they feel now is the time for him to lead. He was raised by Ninoy and Cory amidst the hurricane life of his parents and an idiot for a sister ( who can't relate to that?)

4th: He was never implicated in a controversy that I had heard of...

5th: Simplicity. Even though he leads the surveys, there were no dancing. No wowowillie. No music videos. No self glorifying commercials whatsoever...

6th: The Business sectors support him. They are afraid of Villar because they do not trust him.

7th: He didn't spend BILLIONS in his campaign! Walay angay bawion inig ka presidente...


The reasons I chose Mar because

1st: He stepped down because he knows he cannot win and he knows the people are not ready for him. He stepped aside for a better individual.

The people want Noy; he stepped aside for Noy...

2nd :He isn't like other Politicos who keep jumping political parties that suites their agenda. Unlike Legarda, Enrile, Defensor-Santiago.

3rd: He is fiery and straight to the point. I loved it when he called PGMA "p***ng ina"...

His straight forward approach compliments Noy noy...

Doesn't that remind you of our beloved Mayor Tomas Osmeña?

4th: I have not seen Korina Sanchez in his campaign trips and rallies...

5th: The fact that he reminds me of our Mayor Tom makes me support him more!

6th: Dili balimbing! Dli mag paling2x...

7th: A long list of bills passed from health (cheaper medicines) and economics (call centers) to labor (tax exemption for minimum wage earners) and education (the Roxas law).

8th: More importantly, he has not broken the trust of those 20 million voters who elected him to the Senate. He has proven that he can sacrifice personal ambition for the unity of the country.

* There, I gave you 15 PERSONAL and valid reasons why I will vote for Noy noy and Mar... None of them speaks of Cory magic.

You cannot even give me one example why you call them "spoiled brats" or " they get what they want."

Villar was able to make an appreance in Wowowee and not in a senate hearing to defend his credibility. Now you tell me who is more showbiz??

* I have never quoted any newspaper articles or from the internet not like others who have to rely on sources to defend their stand.

not really a roxas fan.voted him for senate last time because of the "lesser evil" choice.for vice-president i'll vote for bayani.i want a vp who has "balls" instead of someone who i always see bad mouthing other people on national tv.
