ATI has no available solution for physics hardware acceleration. Havok FX was owned by Intel.
ATI Stream Technology is their counter to nVidia's CUDA.
But CUDA has accelerated so much that ATI Stream is just an inferior tech.

in terms of professional graphics and high performance computing segment,
ATI needs to wake-up.

No, ATI/AMD doesn't have any counterpart for Nvidia's physx.

ang answer nako bro, just get the best your budget can buy. ang pinaka kusog ug performance sa budget nga kaya, ma ati man or nvidia.

but ako nvidia ko coz naanad nako sa nvidia and not becoz bati ang ati. im waiting sa release sa nvidia this year, and hopefully after mugawas ila hi-end cards mugawas na ang mga mid-end nila nga kaya ra sa ako bulsa.

it all depends on what gamitan sa imo pc

if sa 3d rendering ka, video editing, or productivity softwares i highly recommend nvidia kay nindot ilang driver support plus most autodesk softwares favors nvidia based gpu especially 3ds max im very sure of this kay mao ni na encounter sa akoa amigo niya costumer sad namo, ati crossfire siya at first pero naa siya small glitch ma observe upon rendering but pag shift sa nvidia ok na ok, bisan pag single card mo exist gihapon ang glitch, and mao sad feedback ato isa costumer namo, and akoa amigo isa sad nga into designing istoryan sad to nvidia pod ila gamit because ani nga feedback

mao ni main e consider upon selecting nvidia or ati

budget
purpose or usage
games usually imo duwaon (physx games support)
applications imo gamiton (remember CUDA based apps)
compatibility with your other hardware
