I was once his admirer too. Sooner than what I expected, I lost my illusion that he was rendering public service to the people whenever he opposed the administration mainly because of the fact that he was tainting the image of the administration while he glorifies himself in front of the public.

It seems that he's really hell-bent to pursue his way to the Senate. After all, he came from a family of politicians.

i think Chiz stands only for the legality and validity of being a president of Arroyo.
he's only working on the impeachment in which Chiz is right.
without the opposition, it is still possible that cheating will happen again.
ang pangit pakinggan if we have a president won because of cheating.

Go ahead Chiz! kick some butt!

Well the truth is that if you are careful enough and by just feeling the things around you will know who is the lesser evil. The president maybe evil but she makes herself busy with her work going to the provinces to check on several projects that sometimes it takes toll on her health.

But take a look at the opposition, especially the types of Francis, what have they done good for the greater public? If you benchmark them with some reference performance makers, hagbong kaayo na sila, di kapasar. They are losers and they keep on going losers.

The truth is that when the Senators themselves have realized that they are becoming redundant because they are getting useless of their own doing kay wala silay nahimo puro ra imbestigasyon, do you know what some of them are doing? they started going to the provinces and started courting hometown leaders to reconsider their stand on the CHACHA -in short they are terrified of losing their prize. Di lang ko manghingan ug kinsa but lately one senator came to Cebu ug nagpakilooy tawon nga unta di cya kalimtan karong sunod tuig nga eleksyon kung duna pa man gani kunoy election. Kasayo pa gani pero nanguyab na sa mga tawo.

Chiz is just a mouthpiece of the opposition, with his empty rhetoric. He's there for his mass appeal, but aside from that, look closely and all you'll see is another trapo. Even the calamity suffered by his constituents he is turning into an opportunity for media mileage.

the best person to judge Escudero is the person from his district...

but what's wrong with fighting for what you think is right? you may think it's grandstanding.
but mao onta na ang trabaho sa opposition... as i reiterate na sab nako... bisan asa ka nga espidno, mao jud na...
Si Ninoy Aquino bitaw opposition man to.. pero ni undang ba siya pagka opposition?

Being an opposition is an ideal... ang taw sa pikas(administration) mo sabot nga nagpapael lng ang opposition.

are you saying that the opposition are more evil than the administration? now it's clear that you judge people by affiliation or by their stand.

He speaks (Francis) like he's on a national level so he will be judged or criticized on a national level. As simple as that. And yes you answered your own question. In that case mas evil ang opposition kay sa administration kung akoy motimbang timbang. Maayo ra silang padako sa ilang mga baba ug way nahimong maayo para sa kadaghanan. Mas maayo nalang demonyaha c Gloria kay makita man nga nagtrabaho.

It's not the way they are making their own stand but by the way they abused their their so-called stand.

Opposition wants Arroyo's real health condition bared

MANILA -- She may have escaped all destabilization efforts, calls and pressures for her to step down, including impeachment, but will she be able to escape sickness, which could eventually lead her out of Malacañang?

Members of the opposition posed this question as they urged Malacañang to come up with a public disclosure as to the true state of health of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

Arroyo Watch: Sun.Star blog on President Arroyo

House Minority Leader Francis Escudero said the Palace should come out with the actual health condition of the President to dispel speculations that Arroyo has a lingering illness that is life threatening.

At his regular press conference, Escudero cited a provision in the 1987 Constitution that requires the government to inform the public of the state of health of the President.

By doing so, according to Escudero, it would do the President a favor as this would simply dismiss persistent rumors that she is seriously ill and might be used as a reason for her to vacate her position.

Article 7, Section 12 of the 1987 Constitution provides that "in case of serious illness of the President, the public shall be informed of the state of (her) health."

"The Constitution speaks that she (President) is duty bound to inform the public (about her medical condition)," Escudero said.

Arroyo could simply inform the Congress about her true health status through writing, or through a majority of her Cabinet members, Escudero said.

There were rumors that the President has a health problem more serious than diarrhea and flu, which were the reasons why she was brought to the hospital twice in the past two months.

Escudero said he himself was wondering why the President was rushed to St. Luke's Medical Center for minor ailments twice the past two months when such could be treated even while she is in Malacañang.

"It must be something more than that. We (Congress) should be informed, pati na rin ang taumbayan (including the people)," Escudero told reporters.

On how do you know they are not doing their jobs? The duty of an opposition is to check the administration, if they find an anomaly, then they are doing a good job. And as a congressman in general, are you sure he is not doing what he should do to his constituents?
Mas maau kay makita magtrabaho? Mao ra man sab na sa among silingan... mura buotan kaau kay cge sulod simbahan... pero yawa d i.

here's another one of Escudero's suggestions....
is it really Escudero's suggestion or we are just giving him so much credit for it?
