@Royal_Flush: the ipod shuffle voice gives you notifications via "voice". so, if you want to know the title of the current song, you press the control button in a special way and the unit will "read" the title to you. if you move to the next song or you go back to the previous song, it will give "audio" notifications. the unit itself only has one two 3-position switch, all the other controls needed for playing the song, changing songs, etc. is done through the special button which is integrated on the headset/earphone.

ang nakabati is you cannot control the shuffle using ordinary headphones (igo ra siya mkaplay ug songs). this is why the belkin adapter is important. the controls are on the adapter which connects directly to the shuffle. you can then connect ordinary headsets on the adapter and still be able to control your shuffle via the belkin adapter.
