@jojitd
wpa and radius - how it works? how it works to avoid spams?
as low as i know, isp's block certain ip's in their network who engage in spam activities, whether intentional or unintentional(virus infection perhaps).
in bussiness type of connection, there is a much higher level of agreement between client and isp. e.g.(static ips, free open ports, bandwidth versatility, etc..)
in a residencial connection, we are limited to what the isp could offer. e.g.(dynamic ips, port blocking (on some isps), etc.).
spammers love DYNAMIC ips soooo much. They don't care whether a certain ip is blocked, there's lots of them. In turn, not caring of who ever gets that ip next.
certainly i dont want my ip blocked bcoz of spammers around. i took a residencial connection bcoz i cant afford a bussiness type.
pls explain wpa and radius (on the spamming filtering aspect ) to add to my knowledge
- blocked port is nothing compared to service interruptions , i hope they can fix what they're doing in time. i'm still observing.
