LOCATION
Sometime we need to go to the most remote location to catch the most magnificent light. It takes courage and determination to show audience locations they never knew existed. It does matter when you were the one to shoot the place first rather than waiting for others to saturate best POV you imagined. i would like to share to you one of philippines most remote location in zambales.
David and Goliath
We hurriedly rushed to shoot one of anawangin's greatest wonders, it's rocks and majestic mountain as foreground and background in sunset. Back from the 15minute hike from the cove's allure, the sun just passed beneath the mountain of anawangin, i was in desperate's hour because I panicked shooting the sunset, knowing it will take time before I can go back to this place and be humbly lucky to have sunset and sunrise on me.

First Light
My Anawangin
Anawangin, one of our dream shoots, captivates us with good weather and shaky waves despite Typhoon Feria passed by a day before we finally decided we'll push thru. A week of monitoring the weather, we decided hours before our flight to manila, Lemeul (my photo buddy), had so much faith on this trip.
The place is amazing, as a perfect playground to practice our landscape skills, it never fails to give us good light. As after storm weather gave us emotions and dynamism we need to capture it's beauty.

excellent photos...
unsay gamit nimo na mga filter sir, katong cookin or circular?

ask lang ko ..did you PP the photos??or straight from the camera jud? ur david and goliath shot kay naay pagka HDR effect.(or is it just me) ..i want to learn how to shot without doing post processing ..i lyk it ....keep up the good work bro..up nasad ta

yes, of course, PP mostly done was levels and adjustment lang especially on burned highlights and resizing to web, colors were not altered. When you're shooting golden hour, it's quite inevitable to have those problems, especially starbursts, it takes discipline and technical knowledge in shooting w/ minimal PP. I don't alter the color of my images.. . im not into HDR, thats why filters are very essential to me.. . its a learning experience always, that hurts in landscape photography because light changes very fast and you have to be accurate, if you made a mistake, you have to wait again tomorrow to capture it.. .timeless images. .
P.S. for dynamic range, im using the 14-bit RAW of my camera while shooting. Its big file but for measurebaters, it really matters.
thanks you for visiting this thread.
Paul...
What software you used to PP the 14-bit RAW? How about your IR PP, CNX2 or you use different back-end SW?
There was a radiant of gold on your David & Goliath, is it a screw-in filter or tint/filter from SW.
