Help! My lola spilled water on my laptop! What should I do?

Warning: Dont use air compressor for cleaning the electronic parts especially computer components. The air coming from the compressor tank it has a moist or water. Nka sulay nko ana... nag limpyo ko ug cpu compressor ako gamit... ang cpu busted. ikaduha video ako gi limpyohan guba ghapon. air blower would be fine.

anyway, after 2 days of constant fanning (if theres such a word). I took my HP laptop to their service center in capitol. Apparently, accidental water damage is not covered by the standard warranty. I just had them check and yes naa jud moisture sa motherboard. My laptop turns okay. Everything is okay except it cant detect the HDD. But when the HDD was tested in another laptop, it runs smoothly.

So... guba cguro jud ang motherboard. =< Bad ending ni na story.

testingi sad ug replace ang cable gigamit from motherboard to hd basin mao ra ang problema. Basin naa diha dapita na short nya nagbasa ang wires.

If ever dili na jud ma detect ang HD nya maka detect pa ang USB ports, palit ug SATA/IDE converter aron mahulog nga external drive imong HD. Dagan ra gihapon na.

thanks sa mga advises. Akong best bet karun noh, kay ipa dala balik sa US. Then ipa-ilis ug bag-o.
Naa man daw sila 21 day grace period after purchasing the laptop. Hopefully mu ilis sila bisan nabasa.
