What can you say about mga Koreano in Cebu...Hambog o buotan?

yes, we can't say that all koreans are like this or that just like we can't say all filipinos are like this and this and this.

there are cultural traits though...and mao ni ako na notice:

1. tihikon compared to japanese. most of them are briefed anyway when they come here. they know the costs of almost everything.
2. they almost have no sense of danger when travelling - walay tour guide mangadto lang sa camiguin mapa ray dala...way kahadlok sa abbu sayyaf
3. not friendly to strangers - dili ni sila mo smile even sa kapwa koreano kung dili ka ila. unlike filipinos when outside the country, makighimamat jud
4. their women are very practical - ma shock sila aning mga women who stick to husbands nga na baldado kay sa ila i divorce man kuno. nganong mag antos man daw nga di naman ka buhi ang bana. (sus mga lalaki, swerte kaayu mo sa mga pinay)
5. courtesy to older people is a must - one must know his place in the social order. kung mag dinner out ang barkada, ang eldest maoy mo treat, ang second maoy mo order. ang mga manghod na swerte pero respect jud sa older ones.
6. very very hardworking - for me theirs borders on workaholism. it has it advantages and disadvantages. one disadvantage is that it has become a joke na kuno kay fathers come home and their children dont recognize them anymore. apil na sa ilang kultura ang "progress-mindedness" kanang sige lang hunahuna on how to improve their lives, career, etc. i so admire this trait among them.

these are my impressions of koreans who have lived here in cebu. i got to know some and a few have become my friends...and 1 or two have even become my close friends. maka ingon sad jud ko nga pareha sa sa pinoy, naay maldito naay buotan. naa lang sad juy traits nga uniquely theirs.

naa pa diay ko nakalimtan...part na jud sa ilang culture ang inum ug sigarilyo. haaaay grabeh makadala ug inum hasta mga babaye kusog kaayu mo inum og Soju. most of them are chain smokers. must be the lifestyle--stress and all.

-sorry is important
-honesty
-lami au ila rice cakes
-dili meat eaters (mga slim)
-bangkahan ka prmi hehe
-treat u as a family member
-before sleeping (if nag text2x mo) there is always i love u!

-uso sad fixed marriage RICHI TO RICHI kuno! hehe


BAD SIDE

basta kusog sila mu discriminate!!! saerns nalang!
they think filipino fashion is so old and funny! haaayyy!

i'm a part time english teacher sa koreans..

i asked a student to take a bath. he answered "No teacher, i not go out, i stay here house" waa maligo ra diay kung mulakaw!

and last friday. we were on our way to BTC with a korean girl friend with her bro!.. we were on taxi when a christmas song (jingle bells) was played! the two of them laughed then talked in korean. then d sister said they think it's funny since It's december and we are singing jingle bells here. but very very HOT daw! haaaY! white xmaas man sila salig lang! hehehe
