Agree with lots of other posts here. Filipinos need more patriotism and more discipline. Also more education. Corruption lowers our educational standards (textbooks are substandard, schools are dilapidated, public universities are under funded). Corruption also lowers our patriotism (it's difficult to love the country but hate the government or any person who now represent the country) and discipline (people who committed crime get away).

Sorry, but medyo overused ra na here in istorya kanang to start with one's self. After you fix yourself (if you really are corrupt yourself), as a private citizen, what do you do? Mamadlong ka sa imong silingan? Mamadlong ka diha sa mga bugoy sa kanto? As a private citizen, naa kay guts to report to the ombudsman or any government agency nga kurakot ang barangay? Ang city hall? Ang BIR? Ang customs? Ang LTO? Ang Malacanang? Kutob ra gyud ta sa atong balay. Mao gyud nga we really need someone who is not corrupt and who can discipline the people. So far, sa time ni Cory, bisan mo-ingon ta nga di siya kurakot, daghan kurakot sa ubos niya. Kay di man firm iya control sa mga ubos niya. Actually, even now, it's "freedom" and "democracy" man gihapon agenda sa presidentiables. After Marcos, naa gyud tawo nga murag iro nakabuhi sa ilang tangkal where they stayed their entire lives. Ug gapatuyang lang sila sa ilang gibati on their newly found "freedom".
mag butang ta ug sticto nga leader... kanang mo implement jud sa balaod.. ang mga taw cge ra reklamo kung dakpon mao na naka daut sa ato
mao pai nag violate.. mao pai ma suko
