Well, whether this was GMA's way of appeasing to a voter block of almost one million voters (hey hey, 2010 is just around the corner), I'm not complaining of the holiday as I did work during that time and I get 30% on top of basic pay. Oh, and it was also Labor Day in the US. The operations floor was quite giddy and uppity when there were virtually no calls coming in.
