@TS: First thing you have to consider is the Vcard - mid-range cards like 9600GT is more than enough...if you wanna play at 1280x1024 its best you get 512MB of this card.
Next is the memory, for now 2GB will suffice but it wouldn't hurt if you have 4GB..but consider dual-channeling to get the best of your mems, e.g., 2x1GB or 2x2GB...
Third is for your proc...actually, OK ra gani P4 3.0 Ghz, pero mas nice japon dual-core or core2duo...
summing up..a mid-range gaming PC will most likely be you choice..
Core2Duo/Dual-Core + 9600GT + 2GB RAM..payts na na!
Just for your reference, my setup is:
Core2Duo E7400 2.8Ghz
Inno3d 9600GT 512MB
2x2GB DDR2 800 RAM
With this setup i play COD4 with max settings...except for AA of course..
sir, ok rasad ba ang 2gb + 1gb nga ram? or dli na ni cya dual channeling?
and regarding resolution 1280x1024, at least 512mb kelangan ani?

dual-channel ain't that much,....adding more ram offers more boost than sacrificing a stick of ram( say you got 4 memory slots and 2 is already occupied with a gig of ram each <dual-channel>) just for the sake of dual channel Originally Posted by m4a1

naa man unta to minimum requirement for the game. check first if u can get the minimum requirement base on your budget. if naay sobra, u may upgrade the GRAPHICS CARD first. then if naa pa gyud ka sobra, get a good memory with good specs na supported sa imong mobo.
if intel ka, daghan na barato nga P45-based na mobo or 6-series nforce mobo. if amd, even 690g based ok na kaayo.
