huh? la ko ka gets i only based my view on the religion from an islamic friend who converted to christianity when her father died. she said something about islam being hard on women

iyaha sad na..u cant compare one person to one nation..
She may not a be authentic muslimah..but guess what..
Christian women who embraced Islam are more pious than those

Well sad to say that there are Muslims out there who are ignorant about Islam. That kind of practice has no basis in Islam. The Prophet( p.b.u.h) at one time was asked by one of his companion about laws in giving Dowry to the woman...The prophet replied that if ever you have nothing to give, your armor vest is enough.

"And give women (on marriage) their dower (Mahr) as a free gift; but if they, of their own good pleasure, remit any part of it to you, take it and enjoy it with right good cheer." (An-Nisa’ :4)

kanang pagka stricto part jud na sa disiplina sa mga parents irregardless kung unsa ang relihiyon. kanang bayhana naka timing lang jud siya ug stricto nga parent.
