I also can't understand the technical ruling that says "any RC catholic can become pope.." does that mean that even if your not a Priest and you're married... then you can become a pope?? just a query..

well in the Bible, it doesn't say that you can't be, when Jesus said to Peter that "you will be the rock upon I will build my church' , he didn't say you have to be single etc. In fact Peter denied Christ three times but still he was forgiven, so in that thinking, there is no limitation in the Bible aside from Vatican rulings if you think about it...

It can happen - in fact, it did happen. Technically, there are monks that are not actually priests. I have not updated my information but I believe most monks are not priests. There were a number of monks who have become popes, though.

Yup I have a book about the Fatima Predictions... and it all did come true!!! It was said that the after Pope Paul VI, there would be two more Popes... after which the next one would be the last.... The pope next to Paul VI would reign for a very "short time" while the next would reign for a very "long time." And indeed it came true! Pope John Paul I reigned for only 30++ days, while John Paul II reigned for 26yrs...I'm still searching for that book in our bodega... It's title was "Eternal Justice"

Intriguing, I don't recall any mention of three more popes after Paul VI in any of the three Secrets of Fatima. Who wrote "Eternal Justice"?

I did not say that the passage was in any of the 3 Fatima secrets... As far as I can remember while reading the book, it was part of the conversations between the Blessed Mother and one of the children. I think it was Lucia... I bought the book in Fatima itself years back...

The rule however still remains that any future pope could opt for a Papal Coronation wherein he would be crowned with the Tiara.
